Governors' Admission Policy

The school year, runs from September 1st until August 31st. Children may start school in September xxxx if they were born between 1st September xxxx and 28th February xxxx. All children will be part-time ie 9.00am - 12.15pm until ready for full time. Children who were born between 1st March  and 31st August  will all be part time for the first time

As an introduction to school parents/carers and children will be able to come to school for 6 sessions in the 2nd half of the Summer term . The group meets for 3 visits in our sanctuary which is one of the mobile classrooms in the playground. The purpose of the visits is to acquaint the children and their parents/carers with school, to meet some of the staff and to discuss and complete the appropriate forms. The children also spend some time in their new classes.

Admission Policy for Disabled Children

We welcome applications from children with special needs and disabilities. Our school is on one level with ramps and rails in key places. We have wide corridors and a wc/shower for the disabled. The Headteacher and parents will meet, together with other appropriate agencies where necessary, to make the best possible provision for the children.
